The Commercial Real Estate firm Fischer Company commissioned Spokane Drone Photography to deliver aerial images of the Guardian Life Insurance campus in Spokane Washington. This aerial project was best completed via helicopter so one was employed for the task. This allowed us to get high enough to show the entire campus in perspective with the rest of North Spokane without the FAA imposed 400 foot height limit with drones. Guardian has office locations all over the United States as well as approximately 8,000 employees and a network of over 3,000 financial representatives in more than 70 agencies nationwide. This beautiful mountain home in North Idaho has an interesting history. Originally the dream come true for well known painter Stephen Lyman and his wife Andrea, the building of the home was started in 1992 after a 3 year design period. The details and finishes in the home were “inspired by all things natural and alive” according to the couple. This stunning home was given the name “Anavo” which is a Celtic word meaning “harmony.” The home contains 5 levels and includes a custom kitchen, lots of windows and natural light, an artist’s studio, 3 car garage, and custom details throughout. The children’s rooms have log bunk beds and ladders to go between upper and lower floors. On the fourth floor each door is different. Imported from Peru, Spain, India, and Indonesia, each is a work of art. The fifth story loft is called the “sky room” and is a private retreat hidden behind a door in the kids’ playroom that could easily be mistaken for a closet.
During construction in 1996, Stephen passed away in a tragic accident while hiking in Yosemite National Park. His wife carried on their dream of completing the home and did so by 1997. Years later, a second home was built on the property for guests and family. It features two bedrooms and one bath, a large shop/barn, and an open kitchen and living room.
This beautiful Cape Cod style home in Hamilton Montana was the subject of an aerial and interior photography shoot for a local magazine. No expense was spared in the design and construction of the home. It includes amenities on 4 levels with an elevator to take you between them. Walking through the front door you find a hand-made stained glass depiction of a Grizzly Bear fishing in a stream with Bison in the rolling fields behind him. On the main floor, the large living room displays open solid log timbers and hardwood floors. It has a beautiful kitchen with stainless steel commercial appliances, solid wood cutting board counter tops on dual islands, and a design to accommodate kosher cooking methods. The library and master bedroom have two story gabled ceilings and both contain their own floor to ceiling stone fireplace. The top floor has two separate guest quarters with their own kitchens and bedrooms. In total, the residence has 10 bedrooms and 19 bathrooms. The 10-car garage has heated concrete floors and there is also a separate shop on site as well. All of the woodwork inside the home is custom solid wood designed by the owner. The lower level boasts a movie theater, wine cellar, game room, indoor swimming pool, custom bar, and a full length underground shooting range! The wine cellar was designed to resemble the inside of an oak barrel. Interior and exterior photos by Rob Miller
